Welcome to Horsham Cycling
Our club is welcoming to all types of rider, from leisure cyclist to competitive racer. Seven groups meet at the Carfax every Sunday morning, each with different speeds and distances in mind.
Horsham is surrounded by fantastic Sussex countryside and quiet roads. The club is a great way of discovering new routes, making friends and perhaps opening yourself to new cycling challenges.
You can join us for a ride or two without being a member, why not give us a try? See the rides page for more details or read the FAQ.

Club Ride Meeting Points
Friday, 23 October 2020 14:36
We have noticed that it is sometimes difficult to comply with the Club's rules on social distancing for Group Riding particularly at the meeting point on Sunday mornings and therefore we have decided to change the meeting points to create more separation between the groups at the start of rides. This is critical to maximize the safety of riders and the general public and also to maintain the reputation of the Club. The new meeting points for Club rides, effective immediately, will be as follows:
Social Riders meet at the W (Swan Walk) end of the Carfax in front of the Cook Shop.
Inter Riders meet at the W (Swan Walk) end of the Carfax with Inter 1 in front of Fat Face and Inter 2 in front of Panino's.
Sporting Riders meet at the E (Bandstand) end of the Carfax with SG1 in front of the Halifax, SG2 in front of Crates and SG3 in front of the Natwest.
Please go to the area designated for your selected ride group and avoid mixing with the other groups. Of course all groups should keep well away from any other gatherings and busy thoroughfares.

Sunday Club rides are re-starting this Sunday, June 28th. There are some new measures that must be observed to comply with the government and British Cycling guidelines for safe group riding. Please read the new 'GROUP RIDES – COVID-19 MEASURES' and the updated risk analysis. Prior to attending a Club ride, all members must review and then adhere to these rules to allow club rides to continue.

Corona Virus Update (19 May 2020)
Tuesday, 19 May 2020 20:52
British Cycling has revised their recommendations on cycling in line with the governments new guidelines. The updated guidance is as follows:
- You may exercise outdoors as many times each day as you wish.
- You can only exercise alone, with those you live with or with up to one person from outside your household. Gatherings of more than two people from different households are not allowed at this time.
- You should maintain a two-metre distance from anyone you meet from outside your household while out riding, stopping and waiting for people to pass at a safe distance when necessary. This is particularly important when riding on narrow paths and trails.
- You can sit and rest outside before, during and after your ride.
- You may drive to outdoor publicly accessible open spaces irrespective of distance, but should follow social distancing guidance while you are there.
- In line with UK Government guidance, those aged over 70 should continue to take particular care to minimise contact with others outside their household.
- When cycling in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, you should follow the guidance and regulations issued by the relevant devolved administration.
- If you are showing coronavirus symptoms, or if you or any of your household are self-isolating, you should stay at home.
We recommend all Club members follow these guidelines and also ask that you only wear Club kit when strictly following these guidelines in order to maintain the reputation of the club.
Thanks for your continued support and hopefully we will be back to normal in the not too distant future. Stay fit, safe and healthy.
