Rides Suspended - Lockdown in England

It is with regret but I guess not too much of a surprise that I must inform you that all official Club Rides are suspended effective immediately. This is in line with the new national restrictions being introduced as well as British Cycling's recommendations. As soon as these restrictions are lifted we will notify members of the resumption of Club Rides - fingers crossed this could be as early as 3rd December 2020.

Here are a few other pointers regarding the new guidelines impact on cycling that British Cycling have provided:

1) Only ride alone, with those in your household/support bubble, or with one person from another household. If you are riding with a person from another household, you must only ever ride as a pair. For example, two riders from the same household cannot ride in a group of three with a person from another household, unless all are part of the same support bubble.

2) Stay two metres apart from anybody not from your household/support bubble.

3) If you are experiencing any coronavirus symptoms, are self-isolating, are sharing a household /support bubble with somebody with symptoms, or have been told to self-isolate after being contacted by NHS Test and Trace, you should stay at home.
4) There are no restrictions on how far or how often you can ride, however British Cycling recommend that you stay within your ability level and prepare accordingly, especially if you are riding alone.

Please take care and thanks for all your support in the recent months.
